• Performing initial structural and grammatical edits on articles, interviews, and feature stories submitted by staff writers and contributors.
• Coordinating with environmental scientists, activists, and guest experts to secure high-quality interviews and exclusive op-eds.
• Managing the workflow between the editorial department and the design team to align visual assets with environmental narratives.
• Researching emerging global environmental trends, sustainability innovations, and conservation efforts to suggest relevant story angles.
• Overseeing the administrative processing of freelance contracts, invoices, and copyright permissions for photography and research papers.
• Drafting professional correspondence and representing the Chief Editor in communications with external PR agencies and environmental NGOs.
