Benefits Oversight: Managing open enrollment, explaining health plans to employees, and negotiating with insurance brokers.

Compensation Benchmarking: Analyzing industry data to ensure salary bands remain competitive within the market.

Legal Adherence: Ensuring the company follows local, state, and federal labor laws (e.g., FMLA, EEO, FLSA, and ADA).

Policy Development: Creating and updating the Employee Handbook to reflect changing workplace trends and legal requirements.

Record Keeping: Maintaining organized, confidential personnel files and ensuring data privacy (GDPR or HIPAA compliance where applicable).

Training Coordination: Identifying skills gaps and organizing workshops or certifications for staff.

Booking & Scheduling: Managing the dispatch calendar to ensure transport services are promised and delivered within realistic timeframes.

Documentation: Accurate processing of rental agreements, service contracts, and billing information.

Route Optimization: Planning efficient delivery or transport routes to minimize fuel costs and maximize driver productivity.

Dispatching: Coordinating with drivers or third-party logistics providers to ensure timely pickups and drop-offs.

Vehicle Tracking: Monitoring GPS systems or logbooks to provide real-time updates to customers on their delivery status.

Safety Compliance: Ensuring all transport activities comply with local transport regulations, weight limits, and driver "hours of service" laws.

Team Oversight: Managing a team of administrative assistants or junior clerks, including delegating daily tasks and conducting performance reviews.

Workflow Optimization: Identifying "bottlenecks" in office procedures and implementing new digital or physical systems to speed up processing time.
